Biography
Pharro
is a
1996 Friesian/Thoroughbred, 17.2 hand, black gelding, owned by Ms.
Jeannie Patton. Pharro's sire was the Friesian stallion Nero.
Nero holds papers with the FPS (Dutch), FPZV (German), the
Friesian Heritage Horse & Sport Horse International (HH), the
American Warmblood Society (AWS) and, at one time, was active and
approved with the American Warmblood Registry (AWR). Pharro's dam
was a former Thoroughbred racehorse named Roman Center.
As a yearling,
Pharro was the AWR Premier First Premium inspection winner. Since
starting under saddle, Pharro has been a Class winner, a Division
winner, and Horse of the Year at: Introductory, Training, First,
and Second Levels for two different Dressage GMO's. Pharro
earned a Gold medal at the Friesian World Show at Third Level, was
a USDF/USEF Class and Division winner at Fourth Level, is a
Bower Memorial Trophy recipient, and is nationally ranked fifth in
all Dressage by the International Friesian Show Horse Association.
Pharro made
his International debut into the FEI at the Meadow Lake Equestrian
Center in October of 2007 under the Honorable Judge Fran Dearing.
As of this writing, Pharro is schooling his Piaffe and Passage
transitions in preparation for Grand Prix while continuing to
compete at Prix St. Georges. His current performance under
the prestigious International Dressage Judge, Michael Kierkegaard,
was rewarded with a 65.75%.
